Dark and Stormy

Here's another summer drink from our resident bartender, Thomas Cincotti!
Dark and Stormy
*Fill highball glass with ice.
*Fill 3/4 of the glass with Ginger Beer.
*Float 2oz of Gosling Dark Rum.
*Garnish with lime
*Drink and repeat!

~Thomas lives in the North End of Boston. He has played key roles in the success of some of the city's best food and drink establishments. He can be found mixing libations at minibar on Thursdays and Fridays, so be sure to stop in and say hi!

  1. Dark and stormy is a Bermudian favorite.
Goslings Rum is the only export from the island of bermuda if im not mistaken... i feel like i learned that once visiting.

I also learned that compared to the rum swizzle this went down like a handful of nails the first time i tried it... however the next time i tried one it hit the spot.

  2. Hey Food Guy ... I'll get you a recipe for a new drink if you want. It's called a Sunchunck Girl. You order it "sweet" (on rocks) or "Sexy" (straight up) haha...
But seriously we do have a recipe for a "sunchunck girl" a bar/bar tender worked on if for us and sells it - just a matter of us finding it.
