It doesn't get better then sitting outside on a warm summer day drinking a Sam Adams Summer Ale, and eating some great fried clams!!! Here are a few of my favorite north shore clam shacks that are definitely worth checking out!
I have a whole bunch of places on my "to try" list, so ill post an update later this summer.

Hi Guto, The Clam Box is in Ipswich, not Essex. I am liking the blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks for catching that! I knew that, but must have got caught up in writing Essex...Fixing it now!
ReplyDeleteIm Glad you like the blog.....Keep reading!!!
Thanks,
Guto
Another very good choice for extra good fried
ReplyDeleteclams in addition to other top seafood dishes
with an Italian slant is the Causeway only a few miles in the opposite direction in Gloucester on rte#133
Portions are beyond huge and prices are low.
This is a very small place with huge crowds
but worth the wait.
Hey Guto

Do you have a recipe for Spaghetti with clam sauce. That stuff is somethin special.
Dad,
ReplyDeleteI’m glad to find that you’ve been following the site. The Causeway is solid from what I remember...Good prices, big portions, and good food. I haven’t been there for quite some time so maybe its time for a Food Guy field trip!!!
In regards to you asking me if I have any Spaghetti with Clam Sauce recipe's…I’m thinking that what you REALLY want is for me to post your recipe, which I will be in touch about, because as you said, ”The stuff’s something special”
